The number of our employees at the end of the year 2008 was 9,405 (2007: 10,007).  Our personnel include chemists, engineers, maintenance personnel, laboratory technicians, process workers, communications specialists, lawyers, and a number of others. We have employees in 40 countries.

At the end of 2008, women accounted for 29% of Kemira's employees and men 71%.
