Maria Sederholm, Senior Business Analyst

Maria Sederholm started her career at Kemira as a summer trainee in Supply Chain Management in spring 2005. Maria enjoyed her job which offered many new opportunities. She did her thesis for Kemira and has since worked as a Sourcing Analyst and participated in many global development projects. In the beginning of 2009 she moved to the Municipal & Industrial Segment and works in Helsinki, Finland as a Senior Business Analyst.

Maria has seen much organizational development at Kemira –  "It has been rewarding to be contributing in function development from the beginning and to see both the operative side and the whole of the big picture".

According to Maria, logical thinking is important for seeing details and understanding the big picture. Having knowledge about different kinds of systems is important, but she also says that personality plays a big role at work because openness and showing initiative build good career foundations.

Maria likes her job because it always offers something new, the international working environment brings challenges and she finds working in a big company, where everyone has the same goal but their own role, motivating.
