Kemira Chimica, a recognized partner for water treatment solutions in Italy, was established in Milan in 1997. The company also owns a ferric chloride production facility within Arvedi’s steel factory in Cremona. In order to better serve customers and to improve logistical arrangements, a new warehouse was opened in early 2009 in Pralboino.

Kemira Chimica is an exclusive local distributor of Tetra Chemicals’ calcium chloride and is a recognised partner in water treatment in particular in the Northern region of Italy. The company has a revenue of EUR 10 million (2009).

In May 2009 Kemira Chimica moved to new offices in Milan  and starting from 1st of April 2010 was operative the merger between Municipal & Idustrial and Pulp & Paper divisions in Kemira Chimica Spa. A common office will further increase Kemira’s ability to offer versatile solutions to its Italian customers.
