Spanish waterworks
Kemira Ibérica’s story began in 1992, when Alida química and Prodecros merged. Kemira is now present throughout the Spanish national market. Main customers are city halls around the country, municipal water companies, the paper industry and chemical industry in general.
Half of Kemira Ibérica’s turnover comes from the business of the Municipal & Industrial segment. The segment’s main activity is production and marketing of coagulants, as well as distribution of a wide range of complementary products in water treatment (such as flocculants, oxidizers, activated carbon and filters).
Kemira aims to remain the national leader in the field of coagulation on both municipal and industrial segments. Kemira Ibérica has six production plants in Spain and one in Portugal. These are staffed by 121 people in Spain and 7 in Portugal.
