The global water-related market is vast, estimated at around 500 billion euros, and fragmented into dozens of submarkets. Kemira focuses on markets where industrial and municipal customers utilize chemistry in water treatment and in the improvement of water-related processes.
The market that Kemira addresses was estimated to be worth 28 billion euros in 2011. We have divided the market in three segments: Paper, Oil & Mining and Municipal & Industry. The common driver for all our addressed markets is efficient use of water and energy.
