Mr Ulf Koivula has been appointed President for Tikkurila Coatings Oy
as from 1 Jan 2004.
Mr Koivula has since 1994 held various managerial positions within the Tikkurila Group in Italy, the United Kingdom, Singapore and the Baltic states. He was previously employed by the Beckers Group and Sadolin (known today as Akzo Nobel Coatings) with industrial coatings as his main responsibility.
Tikkurila Coatings Oy is part of the Tikkurila Group, the paints and coatings business within the Finland-based Kemira Oyj. The Group has production facilities in eight countries in Europe. In 2002 the Group had net sales of EUR 450 million and a staff of 2,500.
