Kemira Oyj has made a preliminary agreement on the sale of the company's Oulu Research Centre real estate to Technopolis Oyj, while still remaining as long-term main tenants in the building.
The agreement price agreed upon is EUR 5.3 million. Kemira will stay in the current facilities on a lease contract for 12 years. There will be four other tenants in the remaining free premises on the property.
Through this real estate deal Technopolis is planning to establish a new type of technology competence centre in Oulu, with the concept of focusing on e.g. customers in the environment-related and water treatment business.
