Eero Sipilä (50) has been appointed Plant Director in Uusikaupunki and will start as of 1 September. He has previously worked as Managing Director of Porasto Oy, a Finnish pension consultancy company.
Matti Kaija, Uusikaupunki plant's present Director, will retire during the autumn and the shift of responsibilities will take place during a transfer period.
Eero Sipilä has a wide working experience in Kemira from 1985 until 2000. He has acted as HR Manager in Kemira's Uusikaupunki plant, Assistant Vice President of HR in Pori plant and Director in Kemira Pigments. Additionally, he held the position of Vice President, HR of Kemira Oyj in 1990-1996 and 2000.
Eero has a broad experience from Kemira and organisation management. We believe this will ensure Uusikaupunki plant's continuous development and good results in the future.
