Mr Pekka Ojanpää (38) has been appointed Executive Vice President, Procurement and Logistics, and member the management board at Kemira Oyj. He will start in his new position on 3 January 2005. His responsibilities will include the strategic planning and leadership of the group's procurement and logistics. Pekka Ojanpää, M.Sc. (Econ.) will report to the Kemira Group's CEO.
Pekka Ojanpää will join Kemira from his current position with Nokia Oyj, where he has been working in various duties related to marketing, procurement and logistics, in Finland and abroad, since 1993. In his current position with Nokia Mobile Phones Mr Ojanpää is responsible for the company's electro-mechanical sourcing and procurement for globally.
