Kemira Oil & Mining Segment demonstrated its commitment to the Russian oilfield market by exhibiting at the 2010 SPE Russian Oil & Gas Exploration and Production Technical Conference and Exhibition in Moscow from October 26th to the 28th. The Exhibition, which was attended by some 5,000 visitors over the 3 days, was the perfect forum to showcase the extensive product line that Kemira Oil & Gas offers for this vast market.
“This was our second year at the Russian Oil and Gas Exhibition. As our business has grown and our product line has expanded so has our presence at the exhibition. Our large and well-designed booth offered an excellent opportunity for Kemira Oil & Mining to feature the new Corrosion Inhibitor and Emulsifier product lines from our recent acquisition in Teesport, UK.” says
Daniel Detter, Marketing Manager for Kemira’s Oil & Mining segment.

The corrosion inhibitors, marketed under KemGuard CI, that Kemira is now proud to offer generated much interest and discussion from existing and potential customers alike. Traffic at the booth was lively all 3 days including visits and meetings with several customers and new prospects. “We were very pleased with the number of visitors we met each day and we picked up several opportunities that could lead to new business opportunities in this important market.” concludes
Daniel Detter.
