Due to continuously escalating raw material and energy costs as well as increasing logistic costs to some regions, Kemira ChemSolutions has to announce a price increase for formic acid.
Kemira will increase the prices of formic acid by minimum 50 USD/ton to destinations in the Middle East and 65 USD/ton to the APAC regions respectively. The price increase will be effective for all deliveries from April 1, 2012 onwards or as specific contract terms allow.
We will continue to work closely with all our customers and suppliers in an effort to minimize the impact of increasing raw material-, energy- and other related costs.
