Kemira Pulp&Paper announced a price increase in the North America

Kemira Pulp&Paper has announced a price increase in the North America region for sodium chlorate and all process and functional chemicals product lines as contracts allow. 
 
Effective October 1, 2007, the price increase is in direct response to the sustained rise in global prices for natural gas and electricity, petroleum and many key chemical feed stocks impacting finished good costs. Sodium chlorate will increase by US $ 50.00/ton. Increases for process and functional chemicals will range from 3-15% depending on chemistry.
