Kemira announces price increases for its pulp and bleaching chemical products. The increase will range from 15-35% for products such as sodium chlorate, sodium hydroxide, hydrogen peroxide, sulphur products and hydrochloric acid. The increase will be effective for all deliveries on or after November 1, 2010 or as specific contract terms allow.
While Kemira continues to take actions to minimize the impact of escalating raw material costs, it is necessary to adjust pricing in order to compensate for the energy impact, other raw material costs and increased freight costs of the pulping and bleaching chemical product lines.
