Kemira supports research, education and studies in natural sciences with a view to promoting business development and Kemira’s global competitive advantages in these areas while securing the availability of skilled employees in the future.

Our major sponsorships include the Millennium Technology Prize and Plan. The Millennium Prize is awarded every two years to celebrate the inventors of technologies that improve the quality of life. 

Plan is an international humanitarian development organization that achieves lasting improvements in the quality of life of children in developing countries. Kemira and Plan co-operate to support children’s right to water, health and development by arranging concrete projects in different countries.

We also cooperate with universities in support of chemistry studies worldwide, and promote chemistry competence in our key market areas.
