Our versatile product line includes the latest technology water-based, silicone emulsion and mineral oil-free concentrate defoamers for waste and process water treatment.

Kemira’s defoamer product portfolio has been designed to minimize negative effects caused by defoamers (such as deposits or fouling), and to be environmentally responsible.  Our defoamers are stable, easily dispersible in water, free of petroleum oils and VOC’s, and are biodegradable. They are also free of APE’s (alkyl phenol ethoxylates) as well as animal-derived components.

Our global defoamer manufacturing plants are highly back-integrated and develop most of the components used in the defoamer product line in-house. This includes hydrophobic silicas, fatty amides, polymeric additives, fatty esters and emulsifiers, and silicone chemistries.
