Crimping

With Kemira’s products, ensiling of high moisture grain ensures optimum fermentation with maximum control of aerobic stability in crimped, ensiled grains. This results in a feed with high nutritional value for all animals and reduced feeding costs. The main advantages of AIV® / KemiSile additives are that they preserve the nutrients (sugars, amino acids) of the crimped material and prevent heating and aerobic spoilage at feed out. This means more milk or meat from the crimped feed.

Kemira Kemisile additives are applied according to the moisture content of the crimped grain.
