Mud Disposal 

Tighter environmental regulations are driving a need for improved mud recycling and disposal operations. Zero discharge and trucked processing make it essential that recycled water will be reusable and/or clean enough for disposal. Solids have to be virtually free of oil and certain chemicals regardless of how you choose to dispose of them. Kemira has in-depth knowledge of both water-based and oil-based muds and can offer products to help solve the growing mud use and disposal markets in water-based fluids. Our Research and Development teams are developing oil-based mud systems for solids control and disposal.
