Effluent
Effluent is an major emission stream from the pulp and paper manufacturing process and needs to be treated responsibly in order to minimize the environmental impact. Well-working effluent treatment ensures the continuous production of pulp and paper and Kemira offers a wide variety of products and solutions for waste water treatment applications. Use FennoNutri when:
- The sludge index is high
- A carry-over of suspended solids to the recipient occurs
- There is a low oxygen level in the biology
- Due to a higher COD, P removal is required
- A more stable biological process is required
