RETAMINOL® CHE2S

RETAMINOL CHE2S is a system which integrates cationic polyethylene imines (PEI) and polyamido amines (PAAm), which are applied either alone  or in combination with various cationic polyacrylamides (c-PAM). This concept is based on the use of two cationic retention agents with different modes of action. The combination of polyethylene imine/polyamido amine and polyacrylamide (PAM) unites the advantages of these two product groups and produces optimum retention and drainage results. The two components are combined in a special unit in such a way that they can be metered like a single component. This saves "maturing" time and thus cuts the cost of preparing the PAM emulsion. The mixing and metering are carried out continuously and can be adapted to meet the retention and drainage requirements in each paper mill.
