Caustic Soda

Sodium Hydroxide (Caustic Soda) is a strategic raw material in the pulp and paper industry, where it is used in bleaching processes and as makeup chemical.

In Finland we are the main producer and largest importer of sodium hydroxide, with more than 70 years of experience. We deliver all grades of caustic soda required by our customers, but the main grades of imported caustic soda are membrane and mercury. Our own sodium hydroxide is produced using the environmentally friendly (BAT) membrane technology. (BAT = 'Best Available Technology', as defined by the European Union).

Our services include also separate shipping services, when our customer or caustic soda supplier needs only the sea transportation.
