Ferrous Sulfate
Kemira Environmental solutions offer an economical source of iron for animal feed. Iron is a mineral that the body needs to produce red blood cells.
The addition of ferrous sulfate as a trace element minimizes the risk of iron deficiency anaemia in animals.
Maximum content of the element in mg/kg of the complete feedstuff or in mg/day:
- Ovine: 500 (total) mg/kg of the complete feedstuff
- Pet animals: 1250 (total) mg/kg of the complete feedstuff
- Pigs: piglets up to one week before weaning: 250 mg/day
- Other pigs: 750 (total) mg/kg of the complete feedstuff
- Other species: 750 (total) mg/kg of the complete feedstuff:
