Decorative paint sector has gone through fast development past few years due to growing demands set by environmental and safety requirements. Waterborne systems have grown their share and this trend will continue in the future. We have taken this tendency into consideration in our continuous development of multipurpose Kemira titanium dioxide pigments. Our offers are all easily dispersible both to solvent based and waterborne mediums. We have pigments available for whole spectrum of paints from high PVC matt paints to more demanding high gloss ones for interior and exterior uses. Tight control of crystal and particle size, narrow particle size distribution and well defined surface treatment gives flexibility to choose pigment from warm yellow undertone to blue scale.
Ultrafine UV-TITAN is used for UV-protection in transparent lacquers. As an inorganic UV screen, it gives long-lasting protection against darkening for wooden surface to keep its original natural look. To provide maximal protection for exterior lacquers we recommend to use UV-TITAN together with HALS absorbers.
