We have a long history of providing solutions for the textile dyeing and finishing industry. Our products including Formic Acid, Sodium Acetate, Magnesium Acetate, Potassium Acetate, Zinc Acetate, Sodium Hypochlorite and Hydrogen Peroxide are used in many different steps in the textile manufacturing process to provide effective and environmentally benign performance.
Formic Acid plays an important role in the production of textiles using both natural and synthetic fibres. Accurate and effective pH control is required at various stages from production to finishing, and especially during the dyeing process. Formic Acid is environmentally benign and far less of it is needed, because of its greater strength compared to alternative acids. This also results in reduced purchasing and storage costs.
Formic Acid is used by the textile dyeing and finishing industry to set and retain colours in fibres. It is used to dye wool, nylon and other natural and synthetic fibres with acid and chrome dyes. In addition, Formic Acid is consumed to neutralize alkaline solutions and facilitate rinsing during laundering.
Sodium Acetate and Ammonium Acetate work as a mordant in dyeing of e.g. wool, silk, acrylics and nylon. Additionally, Ammonium Acetate is used as a stabilizer of the dyeing liquid in the carpet industry.
Zinc Acetate provides performance in textile finishing where waterproofing of textiles can be obtained with the help of Zinc Acetate treatment. Aluminium Formate provides similar functionality. Formic Acid can be used to help produce a wrinkle-resistant treatment in textile finishing. Potassium Acetate can be applied as a softening agent in textile conditioning.
We are the world's largest producer of organic salts and blends. All our products for the textile industry are fully tested in our in-house laboratories and meet or exceed international quality standards.
