Jari Rosendal has been re-elected to the Board of European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic). Cefic is a nonprofit organization which represents the leading chemical companies, across Europe. The Board will serve a two-year term. He has been a Board member since 2014 and this is his 4th consecutive term.
“Kemira strongly supports the transformation of the chemical industry towards a renewable and circular future. The EU chemical industry is developing many innovative technologies to deliver on the challenges we are facing. The Green Deal is designed as a turning point for Europe and the chemical industry and Kemira stands ready to support its objectives. During the Covid-19 pandemic we have shown how resilient and reliable we are and how quickly we have been able to respond to the exponential rise in the demand of for example disinfectants and water treatment chemicals. I am very happy to continue to actively contribute as a Cefic Board member,“ says Jari Rosendal.
