Kemira’s Board of Directors appointed Antti Salminen as the new President & CEO in December. Antti Salminen starts his new role today February 12, 2024. Petri Castrén has been the Interim President & CEO since August 2023 after Kemira’s long time President & CEO Jari Rosendal unexpectedly passed away in late July. Petri Castrén will continue as Kemira’s CFO.
Antti Salminen has had several prior leadership positions in Kemira, latest as President, Pulp & Paper segment and before that President, Industry & Water segment. He has been a member of Kemira’s Management Board since 2011. He has a PhD in engineering.
