Kemira Operon and Lindström have agreed on the operation of the waste water treatment plant of Lindström’s Hämeenlinna service centre starting from 17 March, 2014. At the beginning of the operations, Kemira Operon also automates and develops the equipment of the plant to boost and secure its operation.
“We chose Kemira Operon as our partner to be responsible for operating the waste water treatment plant because their knowhow will help us ensure compliance with the environmental licence terms and the optimal working of the plant,” says Theo Slegt, SVP Corporate Investments of Lindström.
“In outsourcing the use of waste water treatment plants, it is important to ensure that services are produced efficiently and, above all, safely both for people and the environment,” says Tapio Korttilalli, Managing Director of Kemira Operon.
