Kemira Oyj has on December 11, 2008 received the following notice:
The Finnish State and Solidium Oy (Business ID number 0866693-1) inform about an arrangement that will result in the Finnish State’s holdings in Kemira Oyj to fall below and Solidium Oy’s holdings to exceed the thresholds set out in the Finnish Securities Markets Act, section 9 of chapter 2:
The Finnish State has today December 11, 2008 transferred the state-owned Kemira Oyj’s shares to the entirely state-owned Solidium Oy. The State will transfer its shares to Solidium as a capital contribution. As a result of the transfer the Finnish State has no longer any shareholding in Kemira. The shares to be transferred to Solidium Oy and the corresponding share of the paid up share capital and votes in Kemira Oyj are as follows:
