Due to continuously escalating raw material-, logistic- and energy costs, Kemira announces a price adjustment in EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) for its organic flocculant and coagulant products for municipal and industrial water treatment applications.

The price increase will range from 5-15% for most products, but can be higher for products more acutely impacted by escalating cost drivers. Effective date will be for all deliveries from July 1st, 2011 onwards or as specific contract terms allow.

While Kemira continues to take actions to minimize the impact of escalating raw material costs, it is necessary to adjust pricing in order to compensate for the energy impact, other raw material costs and increased freight costs.
