Human rights

Respecting human rights is something we strive for in our daily operations and through our value chain. Our Code of Conduct and Code of Conduct for Business Partners are the foundation for our human rights approach. These are published on our website and in our Sustainability Statement.

We expect employees and our business partners to:

  • respect fundamental human rights
  • treat people with dignity, decency and respect
  • avoid any kind of harassment, discrimination, intimidation, oppression and exploitation
  • never use any form of forced or child labour
  • protect employee health and safety
  • respect freedom of association and collective bargaining
  • respect the privacy of personal information
  • pay compensation in compliance with wage laws

By treating everyone with respect, holding ourselves to the highest standards of ethics and acting with integrity, we have a positive impact in our supply chain and in the communities around us. This unlocks new opportunities and protects us from risks.

Responsible business practices start with our commitments and governance.

Inclusion is about fairness and where everyone feels safe to be themselves and knowing that their contribution matters. It means that everyone feels heard, respected, valued, and supported at work, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Inclusion involves fair and merit-based policies and processes, open communication, and a commitment to removing barriers that might cause exclusion and reducing biases.

We encourage open dialogue, collaboration, and the sharing of diverse perspectives. We aim that everyone should feel a sense of belonging and safety at work, both physical and psychological and every leader should ensure this across the organization

Inclusion is our People Sustainability target

Our ambition is high. We set ourselves an inclusion target to further demonstrate our commitment to our diverse workforce and aim to be among the top companies across industries. Our target is to reach the top 10% cross-industry norm for our inclusion index by the end of 2025. It is measured as our employees perception through regular feedback and surveys. Our employees drive our sustainability transformation. A diverse and inclusive culture enables us all to bring our best selves to work every day.
